Corallo Rosso

Repaired from the maestrale, just under the cape, we find the cave of the Madonnina, with its covered walls of sea daisies and multicolo ri ncrustations; In front of the cave of the Madonnina, at a depth of 35 mt, we find the Red Masses of the Gorgonie. In the gulf of Porto Conte we find the caves of the Bramassa and the cave of the Well here droves of corvine and evocative games of lights can be seen. In the zone of Punta Giglio we find:
the cave of Falco characterized by the walls covered of red coral already at -4 mt;
the cave of the Deers, where a fossil layer of bones of Sardinian red deer inglobated in the calcite was found;
the cave of the Ghosts, that can be considered a artwork of the nature, for its white limestone walls with inserts of streaked alabaster;
the cave of Stalactites where we can admire stalactites that testify the different level of tide at the time of the freezings.

In the zone of Polt'Agra we find the caves of Galatea and of the Coral, this last one famous for the wonderful vaults upholstered of valuable red coral, the cave of the Lakes, characterized from several rooms with emerged parts.
Lots of immersions can be carried out in free waters: the Red Masses of the Gorgonie, the Sand bank of the Lobsters, the Canyons of Nereo and of the Submarine, the Crack of the gorgonie, the Rock of the Barracuda and the Dolmen of the Foradada.

The encounter with several species of the Mediterranean are very frequent here: cernie, dentici, lobsters, gronghi and murene, and covered walls of Parazhoantus, Leptosamnia and of Poriferi; the Corallium Rubrum is present in nearly all the gorges since a few meters depth. The possibility of choice for the immersions are different standing to the meteorological conditions and the level of preparation of the sub: in any case the emotions and the fun is assured. Particularly evocative is the nocturnal immersion in caves, rich of unexpected encounters.
